Shanghai Museum is located at the People’s Square, the very center of Shanghai.  It’s a large museum of ancient Chinese art, covering a total area of 39,200m2, with 11 galleries and 3 exhibition halls. The high traffic flow of the museum especially during holidays sets higher requests on its people counting system in terms of efficient operation and monitoring accuracy.  Unicross project team successfully implemented the people counting system at the Museum, which provides strict monitoring on the traffic capacity as well as accurate calculation at the back end.  The big data collected greatly helps the management in their decision making.
